As head of Incyte Capital’s New York office, Nate Land brings deep experience providing capital to middle market companies facing special situations. Nate is uniquely qualified to partner with companies in need of flexible and responsive capital to complete successful turnarounds and restructurings.

Over 17 years, Nate has completed investments and change-of-control transactions aggregating over $100 billion across private and public debt and equity markets. Nate has been a principal investor as well as strategic advisor to Fortune 200, middle market and financial sponsor controlled companies.

Prior to joining Incyte Capital in June 2009, Nate was a Vice President at Cerberus Capital / Ableco Finance, where he served as a lead transactor for a principal investing team active in DIP financing and distressed investing.

Previously, Nate spent over 16 years with Citigroup, including serving as a Director with Citi Global Special Situations, a proprietary principal investing team focused on junior debt and equity investments in the middle market. Nate was also an officer in the Salomon Smith Barney Investment Banking group where he was the strategic advisory coverage officer for GE’s family of non-financial companies as well as for the Xerox restructuring.

Nate graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business with an MBA in 1992, from the Johns Hopkins Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies with an MA in 1991, and from Carleton College in 1987 with a Bachelor of Arts with honors.
